Our Story
Made for the considered home
We are a small house of designers and makers, obsessed with the quiet details that make a room feel like home.

A quiet rebellion against the disposable
Urban Dusk began in a small studio in Bengaluru, where our founder, Aarav Mehta, grew tired of home goods that looked beautiful online but felt hollow in the hand. He started with a single product — a tailored linen fridge cover — and a simple standard: anything we sell must be something we would keep for a decade.
Today we work with a close circle of artisan makers across India, Portugal, and Vietnam. We choose natural materials that age gracefully, finish every piece by hand, and refuse to chase trends. Our collections are small on purpose.
We believe luxury is not loud. It is the weight of a well-made rug, the softness of washed linen, the warmth of brass that has been touched for years. That is the dusk we are chasing.

What we stand for
Three principles, no exceptions
01
Make less, make it better
We release a handful of new pieces each season, not hundreds. Every item is prototyped, tested, and approved before it reaches you.
02
Pay makers fairly
Our artisans set their own prices. We pay upfront, share profits, and credit every maker on the product page where we can.
03
Repair, do not replace
If a seam fails or a finish dulls, we repair it — for the life of the product. Landfill is never the answer.
Come see what we have made
Every piece in our collection is the result of this philosophy.
